Pie Crust

ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 cup crisco shortening
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cold water
1 teaspoon sugar
note: the above makes a pie bottom, if you are making a pie that needs a top (i.e. apple pie) then double this and then half the dough and roll out two equal halves.

  1. combine above
  2. knead and roll out using a pin and pastry cloth
