Cheesy Potatoes

1 2-pound bag cubed, hashbrowns, well-thawed
1 cup chopped onions
1 can cream of chicken
1 pound (16 oz) sour cream
1 stick butter
1 package (8 oz) sharp chedder, grated
2 cups kellogs corn flakes

  1. preheat oven to 350.
  2. heat soup and butter. remove from stove and add sour cream and onions.
  3. once above is mixed add potatoes, cheese, salt, pepper and mix with a wooden spoon.
  4. butter a 9x13 baking dish. pour potatoes into pan.
  5. crush corn flakes, add 1/4 cup of melted butter to them and top the potato mixture with them.
  6. bake at 350 for one hour, uncovered.
