Strawberry Shortcake

2 1/3 cups bisquick
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced

  1. heat oven to 425.
  2. combine all ingredients except strawberries until soft dough forms.
  3. drop 6 equal spoonsfulsonto and ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. to serve, place shortcake in bowl, top with strawberries and add milk. sugar to taste.
