At 17, I had my coolest job to date. I worked for an appraisal company and reported twice a week. Upon showing up they would hand me a camera and collection of addresses. My task involved driving around to each property and taking five pictures of it from differing vantage points and then moving to the next. If you shopped for a house in Fort Collins, Colorado in 86 you may be familiar with my work. However, I was only in their employ for four months, but do have fond memories of the arrangement. It is noteworthy to share that during this time only one piece of music graced my car's tape deck, ABC's "How to be a Zillionaire."
While this site is greatly dedicated to stories of no import but embarrassing detail, this particular moment moves not to paint a picture from the past but to convey a point, or more accurately, three points. First, my understanding and appreciation of music is not complex. Secondly, my tolerance for hearing the same song over and over is great. And lastly, my musical selections have only one direction in which to move ... that is 'up' for the lethargic to grasp.
Given this modest declaration, I invite you to listen over my shoulder or behind my ear to the song(s) I'm most recently enjoying. And, please don't forge any aspirations of a dynamic rotation here. As mentioned above, I am slow to tire of an enjoyable melody.
Note: Only the latest five songs will be accessible for your direct pleasure. At that point they will be retired as to not wear out my web-hosting welcome.
