in the top of the stairs in chris and gina's house there's this crazy inset in the wall. i had commented on it and gina said the back of it is removable from the closet on the other side of the wall and is used to get beds upstairs because the corner of the stairs is too tight. most definitely one of the coolest pieces of utilitarian architecture i've ever seen. crazy ingenious.
