Welcome to outback camping in Rocky Mountain National Park. Our campsite is just to the left of snake there, in blue, at the base of the rocks. Spending the night where the closest human to you is at least 10 miles away is a bewildering experience, given all the humans on the planet to think you solely occupy such an uninterupted piece of real estate is a touch, well, freaky. Any amount of effort is tolerable for the simple reward of seeing a night sky peppered with more stars than you thought could ever exists. This is in my opinion the greatest price to city life.
