ANTHONY (15) Are you washing your cereal? TROY No, just sifting all the tiny broke pieces out. I don't like those. ANTHONY That's quite a process. TROY Not really. I've learned you just gotta be smarter than your problems. ANTHONY Your problems seem more trivial than most people's. TROY They are but a lot of work has gone into making it that way. Sometimes I think I would like to have an honest accounting of what my children think of me. Then after exchanges like the above, I think it is probably better that I don't. I'm confident I'd need something stronger than a kitchen strainer to deal with that.
