Alex would not be described as an outdoorsman. He lands squarely in the home-body category and this includes even staying inside his home. This became a conversation point at a family dinner. We were telling Alex he needed to get out more. Get some exercise. Get some sun. When the sun topic came up, the following exchange took place.

MARTY
You should sit outside everyday for fifteen minutes and get some sun.

ALEX (jokingly)
What, do you want me to get skin-cancer?

MARTY
You are not going to get skin cancer.

ANTHONY
Not with your complexion. You could probably sleep out there all day and not get burnt.

ALEX
But how boring would that be?

MARTY
Take your shirt off. It'll go faster.

BELLA
Yeah, let all the ladies get a load of that yoked Alex-physique.

TROY
If you want to save time, strip naked. Then you'd be done in three minutes.

ALEX
You just want to me to go out naked so you can watch me out of the window with your binoculars.

TROY
Oh. Would I need my binoculars? I'm sorry Alex.

When the laughter subsided, Anthony would comment on what a sick-burn that was and Alex's face would humbly acknowledge the dig. In fact, the face he made would look a lot like yesterday's gallery photo (ref). And speaking of yesterday's post, today's topic is meant to provide balance to that Aleo love-fest. Though it does give insight to the sprawling and rich conversations that take place at our family dinner table, which without question is one of our home's finest features.

As a final note, the meal showcased above is what we call Parasite RamDan and is what we will be having for our 2021 xmas dinner. I learned how to make it, or my own special version of it at least, after seeing the movie Parasite. It is presently our home's unanimous favorite dish. It is hard to make out but the bowl on the right is full of seasoned chunks of ribeye which get ladeled over the noodles on the left. The steak begins as a large chunk, gets seasoned, then rotiseried, then diced and quickly pan-fried in butter as a final kiss of tasty perfection. My mouth is responding even as I type these words.
