when walking through the neighborhood the other day i stumbled upon this display someone took the time to setup in their front yard in preparation for halloween. i stopped and found myself studying these 6 white apparitions for several minutes and was struck by how striking they were. with brick homes and turning trees as their backdrop these wispy and stark figures were literally jumping off the page. i'm afraid it's not transferring here so i didn't do my job behind the lens but am posting it all the same, if for no other reason so i can look back on it a year from now and remember the afternoon i stood on the sidewalk days before halloween feeling rather 13 again.

and, i can admit that my legs held a brisker clip the remainder of my walk, not quite breaking into a jog/run, just brisker like they held a purpose.
