I recently, to Marty, compared Anthony to Bella saying that something he did reminded me of her. With zero pause, Marty quickly corrected me with the following.
Bella appears confident, even when she is not.
Anthony is confident, genuinely confident, and is never pretending. Then you have Alex who might not look confident but when you get back whatever you needed from him, you are going to be blown away by what he puts in your hands. We have often been asked how we escaped the sibling rivalry problem that impacts many families. You'd think we would be doubly ripe for that given how succesful and imposing Bella is. I think we were spared because each of our children are opposites of one another. I do understand that having three opposities sounds impossible but I've got living proof to the contrary. And the only thing that is more improbable than experiencing three opposities is having all of those opposites have such positive and kind outlooks.
