it is two in the morning. marty is seven months pregnant with anthony. i was working at my desk and heard something down the hall. i first looked in the kids room. both bella and alex were sleeping. i next looked in our room and found marty on all fours in the middle of our bed squinting at our bedroom's closet. |

marty?
MARTY
(silent)
TROY
marty. are you ok?
MARTY (still looking at closet)
there's a kid in there.
TROY
the kids are sleeping hon. they're in bed.
MARTY
he has wings.
TROY
oh ... but none of our children have wings.
MARTY (sharply)
ted! get out of there!
TROY
we don't have any children named ted marty.
MARTY
ted! come out! now!
TROY
(i walk to the closet and swing both doors open revealing no children, winged or named ted)
MARTY
i thought there was a kid in there.
TROY
i know you did hon. go back to sleep.
MARTY
ok. i'm going to go back to sleep.
