so what happened with the tv today bella?

BELLA
well ... alex came up and said that mom said we could watch it.

TROY
ok. i want you to be real careful here bella and make sure you're not saying something that isn't true and that's going to get your brother in a mess of trouble.

BELLA
well ... he was watching too.

TROY
that's not my concern. what i want to know is how the television came to be on when your mother specifically said your tv was done for the day.

BELLA
well ... i guess i forgot. and then mom came up and got angry and then i got angry and she said i couldn't watch any more shows and i said i was going to watch two more shows and that was a lie and then mom said she was going to break the television screen and that was a lie too and then i said i was going to watch infinity shows and that was another lie.

TROY
so it sounds like things got a little bit out of hand and people got angry.

BELLA
yeah. and now i can't watch any shows for a week. and that's not a lie.
