the kids and i are out on our post-dinner walk. bella is carrying a bag with bread ends in it in case we run into any ducks. we are not running into any ducks, so when bella sees a lady walking her dog, she runs her down. |

hey, is your dog nice?
DOG LADY
yes she is.
BELLA
can i pet her?
DOG LADY
yes you can, she likes to be petted.
BELLA
can i feed your dog some bread? we are looking for ducks to feed but there aren't any.
DOG LADY
yes, she likes bread.
BELLA
i'm not wearing any underwear.
DOG LADY
oh. well. that happens every now and again doesn't it.
TROY
(feeling thankful this woman doesn't know me.)
DOG LADY
hey, you're the web guy arent you?
TROY
uhm. yes i am.
DOG LADY
i heard you speak at the meeting the other day.
TROY
how fortunate is that?
