anything happen interesting at school today?
BELLA
this boy asked me out for the fifth time today.
TROY
five times. he's persistent.
BELLA
yeah. that's one word for it.
TROY
so do you like this boy?
BELLA
not especially.
TROY
so what do you say to a boy who asks you out five times?
BELLA
what do you mean?
TROY
i mean when he asks you to go out. what do you say?
BELLA
well, the first time i said no. the second time i said no. the third time i said, "what's your G.P.A.?".
TROY
huh? what? you asked what his G.P.A. was?
BELLA
yeah.
TROY
why?
BELLA
well, because if he doesn't have a 4.0 then i won't go out with him.
TROY
i bet that stopped him in his tracks.
BELLA
yeah.
TROY
but what if he said he had a 4.0?
BELLA
well then i'd ask what extra-curricular activities he does and then if he's ever had a detention.
